New Studies Report Evidence Against More Vitamin Use

October 14, 2011 – According to two new studies the evidence is mounting for those who suggest that taking extra doses of vitamins can do more harm than good reports the New York Times. Apparently a recent study by The Journal of the American Medical Association claims that vitamin E and selenium users had a slightly higher risk of developing prostate cancer. In addition a second study of women by The Archives of Internal Medicine a higher risk of dying was found among older women who used multivitamins and other supplements compared with women who did not – read the full article HERE.
