January 28, 2015 (Salt Lake City, UT) – The National Nordic Foundation announced today $8,000 of support the Falun World Championship team named yesterday. Originally, proposed as a pillar project, one of the funded skiing development projects key to American skiing, by Yuriy Gusev, the NNF support for World Championships ensures that no skier is stuck with a bill to attend the event in Falun.
The team was named yesterday by the USSA and will attend an NNF supported pre-Worlds team camp in Davos, Switzerland. For more from the World Championship athletes or to learn about NNF funded projects, visit www.nationalnordicfoundation.org.
