November 11, 2013 – The three month journey of the NNF’s Drive for 25 comes to a close this week. In that time, Nordic Skiing has been buoyed by amazingly generous donors, greater levels of support, more ambassadors and a larger collective push than ever. We’ve seen individual states rally out of pride to lead in donations, junior skiers work tirelessly on behalf of the cause and the energy of the coming season infuse the purpose of this fundraising push with more urgency and hope than ever.

“What an incredible time we’re living in right now for American ski racing.  We are finally a force to be reckoned with on the World stage, we have more confidence and ambition than ever, and we’re on the cusp of making the U.S. a true Nordic powerhouse!  But as far as we’ve come in the last decade, we can’t stop here.  We have an incredible opportunity ahead of us right now, to truly build America’s team.  We have the chance to be more unique than any of the other nations out there because our team is built off the support and enthusiasm of our entire nation.  It’s the individual donations, coming in $25 at a time, that are fueling our fire and pushing us to new heights.”

Matching grants are the lifeblood of this fundraising drive. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of supporters to the NNF, the motivation and push lives deep in our scene. In these final days, help the NC crew reach their full potential by supporting their effort and capturing a $25,000 matching grant. Keep the crew flying high as they take on another year of international competition.

It’s an Olympic year, a time when the music gets louder and the culture is on greater display to the rest of the world, which is good, because we have a lot to show off.
