May 07, 2010 – Oberhof, Oberstdorf (both GER) and Ramsau (AUT) have been selected as the most media-friendly organizers on the FIS Nordic World Cup tours during the 2009/2010 season. These awards have been presented by the Forum Nordicum, or the Union of Nordic Ski Journalists that is part of the AIPS (i.e. Association de la Presse Sportive), since 1990. Oberhof will receive the trophy for the FIS Cross-Country World Cup race that opened the FIS Tour de Ski from 1st-3rd January this year, Oberstdorf has been recognized for the organization of the Four-Hills-Tournament for Ski Jumping on 29th December 2009 whilst Ramsau has been chosen as the most media-friendly venue in Nordic Combined.

Oberhof held off the South Tyrolean resort of Toblach and Canmore of Canada who tied for 2nd place. Oberstdorf was ranked ahead of Innsbruck (AUT) and Sapporo (JPN). In the Nordic Combined World Cup ranking, Ramsau was followed by Seefeld (AUT) and Schonach (GER).
