October 27, 2010 (Helsinki, Finland) – The Finnish Nordic Sports company, One Way Sport OY, with headquarters in Helsinki finalized the acquisition today of the Swedish Sport distribution company, Nordic Trade Development AB.

Nordic Trade Development AB is one of the fastest growing distribution companies in Sweden with a strong brand and product portfolio in addition to One Way products. The company has developed to one of the leading suppliers of Nordic sport products during the past few years.

The acquisition is part of One Way’s strategy to develop its Nordic Sports footwear and Nordic technical wear business. The organization at Nordic Trade will remain unchanged with Fredrik Heikki as a part-owner continuing as the managing director for the Swedish operation.

One Way Sport OY is also pleased to announce that it has signed a new 4-year supplier agreement with the Vasaloppet, the most important and biggest ski marathon event in world. One Way will be the official exclusive winter supplier of poles and footwear but as well at the Vasaloppet’s fast-growing summer events.
