June 22, 2010 – Petra Majdic, the best Slovenian Cross-Country skier announced she would continue in her career on 26 May 2010. Today she signed a contract with Slovenian Ski Association dealing with mutual cooperation. “I am very glad that we have agreed on the correct direction of cooperation with Slovenian Ski Association. It fills me with confidence. I could see understanding and positive attitude towards our work.” The best Slovenian skier will continue with her successful team: “It is important that we have agreed that I will continue to work with a professional team of people that so far helped me.” New contract was signed by the president of the Slovenian Ski Association and Cross-Country skiing director. “Petra Majdic’s team remains homogeneous, which next season will surely help her to prepare in the best possible way for the World Championships in Oslo next year,” both agreed.
