January 1, 2007 – On behalf of the Cross Country World Cup Society, Canmore Nordic and Foothills Nordic Ski Clubs, we are pleased to extend our warmest invitation to attend the World Championship classic sprint Trials. These races are also part of the Haywood NorAm and Madshus Sprint series. The event will be held January 20 & 21, 2007 at the Canmore Nordic Centre. Our Saturday race will be held on the new 1.2 km sprint course used in the World Cup races last season. The Sunday race will use the biathlon sprint course. This event will be the fourth stop of the Haywood Noram / Canada Cup series this season.
