release by NENSA

July 08, 2010 – The second (and final for this year) testing day will take place on August 20th. Lactate and VO2 Max Testing will be conducted by Dain LaRoche and staff at the University of New Hampshire campus. Testing spots are limited. NENSA Elite and Development team members have first priority. Any remaining spots will be filled on a first come first served basis. Cost will be $150 for NENSA Elite/Devo Team; $175 for non-Elite/Devo Team and 195.00 for non NENSA members. Price includes training zone interpretation. This is significantly reduced from the standard testing costs! Athletes who tested in June are encouraged to use this as a follow up as validation of effective training.

Dain was a Biathlon development coach and physiologist with the U.S. Biathlon national team for five years and is currently working at UNH heading up the exercise physiology program.
