Seppas and Paredi Win Final Rollerski World Cup

July 25, 2011 (Bad Peterstal, Germany) – Sweden’s Hanna Seppas and Simone Paredi of Italy won the final round of the FIS Rollerski World Cup in Bad Peterstal, Germany. The third day of the FIS Rollerski World Cup included ladies’ and men’s 11.3 km uphill competition in Classical technique.

Simone Paredi (ITA) and Anders Svanebo (SWE) were fighting hard all the way up. Paredi had more left in the tank and beat the Swede by +3,2 sec. Svanebo’s compatriot Bill Impola claimed the third place with a +37.8-sec margin.

On the women’s side Sweden’s Hanna Seppas scored her second first place victory in Bad Peterstal. After her victory on Friday she was the quickest also in yesterday’s 11.3km Uphill Classic race. Seppas won with a clear gap of +26,7 sec over Russia’s Natalia Zernova. Ksenia Konohova (RUS) finished third with a gap of +1:00.7.
