November 7, 2007 – This is a quick reminder for all who have been waiting until the last minute to register for the XC Camps that run from November 24 to December 2 this year. It is almost the last minute! Register now using the online registration form on the camp web site www.xccamps.ca .

I have had a few questions about things happening during the XC Camps. As a regular feature, the camps always have presentations on equipment, technique, nutrition, fitness and other similar topics. This year is our 20th anniversary and we will have a few celebrations to mark this. As well, the Nordic Festival is on from November 23 to December 2 and I have posted the schedule below.

If you did not find the information about schedules on the web site, the Technique camps are usually on snow 9:00am, stop for lunch 11:30am or so, back on snow 1:00pm-1:30pm and finish skiing at 3:00pm. We alternate classic skiing one day and skate the next. We shoot video most days and show it back either after skiing in the AM or before going out in the PM. The LSD schedule is slightly different and that is posted in an article on the web site by Joe Bouscaren.
