December 04, 2013 (Toronto, ON) – We are excited to announce the leaders of the SkiTrax FIS Fantasy World Cup Contest after the first round of the 2013/14 Viessmann XC FIS World Cup season, the Ruka Triple, in Kuusamo, Finland. The USA’s Kikkan Randall made history with a second-place finish in the women’s classic sprint (read the coverage on skitrax.com here) and Noah Hoffman (USA) made a huge leap to log the fastest time in the men’s 15km FR Pursuit for his first quasi WCup victory while placing 9th in the mini tour (read our coverage here).

The A team took the early lead in the contest with 225 points, followed by asterion only five points behind with 220. Team it will never catch on is also in the hunt in third spot with 216 points.
