December 05, 2014 (Toronto, ON) – We are excited to announce the first leaders of this season’s SkiTrax FIS Fantasy World Cup Contest featuring over 400 teams after round one of the 2014/15 Viessmann XC FIS World Cup season at Ruka, Finland. The USA’s Ida Sargent delivered a personal best 5th place finish as she put the USA in the women’s 1.4 CL Sprint final (read the coverage on skitrax.com here) and Alex Harvey opened his season with a strong 7th in the men’s 15km CL (read our coverage here).

Teams xium and team K dog came out of the gate in a dead heat to tie for top spot with 168 points. Next up were teams Winning Ways and Nordic Tribune, also with a tie at  163 points apiece. Another two-way tie saw teams Anton Kislov Ski Team and Moore wrap up after round one with 160 points each.
