September 11, 2008 (Toronto, ON) – SkiTrax is excited to announce the launch of its new Skier Diaries section at skitrax.com featuring a variety of top US and Canadian Nordic skiers who will share their thoughts, impressions and experiences both on and off snow with readers. Each skier has their own page including a brief biography, photo, along with their top performances – all of their diaries will be archived by date allowing readers to stay on the pulse throughout the season.

Check back regularly to keep track of your favourite skiers, or to learn about others as the section will be updated on an ongoing basis to provide readers with insights, and a behind-the-scenes look at the life of professional athletes as told by the skiers themselves. With each update you may find anything from a race report, to a recent vacation, to a training breakthrough, or their thoughts on any aspect of the sport.

To kick things off with our launch we welcome Garott Kuzzy and Liz Stephen of the US Ski team, and master chef and Canadian National Team member Stefan Kuhn – check out their pre-season diaries in the Skier Diaries section (see menu on left side of home page). Lots more skiers are on board and we’ll be announcing them soon in our next Skier Diaries introduction… stay tuned.
