November 22, 2005 – Sport Canada recently announced an increased carding allocation to Cross Country Canada for the 2005/06 year and beyond. Cross Country Canada will now have an equivalent of twenty senior cards to award to their athletes. As a result of this decision the following changes will be made to Cross Country Canada’s carding for the 2005/06 season:

Phil Widmer will upgrade from a D card to a SR card. Madeleine Williams and Chris Butler will upgrade from D cards to C1 cards. Chandra Crawford will receive a SR card. Amanda Ammar and Christian Ruel will receive C1 cards.
