St. Michael’s Nordic Team Ks For Haiti Fundraiser

release by St. Michael's Nordic Ski Team

February 7, 2010 – The St. Michael’s Nordic team is running a fundraiser called Ks for Haiti where you can pledge a certain amount of money to go to Haiti for each kilometer left to be skied in this year’s carnival circuit. It’s a great way to support a more than worthy cause while having fun at the same time.

If you’re interested, please download the form here which explains more about the fundraiser.

Complete K’s For Haiti information below:
With five carnivals left to go and Haiti in crisis, we have the chance to turn our passion for skiing into some good in the world. Join us in pledging money per kilometer each race (any little bit helps) to add up to a large sum from the EISA that will be donated to the Red Cross at the end of the season.

Women:
$0.10 per kilometer = $8.00
$0.50 per kilometer = $40.00
$1.00 per kilometer = $80.00

Men:
$0.10 per kilometer = $11.80
$0.50 per kilometer = $59.00
$1.00 per kilometer = $118.00
… or any other amount!

Ask your coaches, professors, family, and friends if they would be willing to match your pledge per kilometer – together we can help thousands in need! Checks can be made out to Red Cross, or to make a donation visit www.redcross.org.

Thank you so much!
