August 15, 2008 – I have an exciting month coming up. I have had a really good start to the summer training and have been enjoying some sunshine and soccer in addition to training schedule. My wife’s family has a place in Sicamous, B.C., where we have spent some rest weeks soaking up the rays. This has been a stress-free place for me to recover and kick back with golfing while enjoying life by a lake.

I’ll be heading off soon on a new adventure, as I head to Germany to go stay with my good friend Jens Filbrich in Oberhoff. I will be enjoying the end of the summer sun while training with the German National Team for 10 days. The training will be a great learning experience and an opportunity to see where my shape is in relation to some of the bigger guns on the world cup circuit. Wish me luck – and enjoy the remaining summer heat while you can!
