January 26, 2009 (Rossland, BC) – At the conclusion of Sunday’s Haywood NorAm competition in Rossland, BC, Canada’s National Team Leader Dave Wood announced the selected group of athletes to represent Canada at the upcoming Liberec 2009 Nordic World Championships from Feb. 19-Mar. 1.

Missing notable National team skiers are Olympic sprint champ Chandra Crawford, Drew Goldsack, and Stefan Kuhn. Both Crawford and Goldsack are recovering from a low ankle tendon injury, while Kuhn is rehabbing from a fracture in his left shoulder.
