The Skivvy on Post Workout Cool Downs

October 15, 2009 – Most would recommend cooling down after a grueling workout but according to a recent article in the New York Times scientists question the necessity of a cool down. In their findings the researchers claim that cool downs should not actually be used to rid the body of lactic acid, since it can be converted into glycogen if it remains in the body.
