November 14, 2012 – When Norwegian super star Therese Johaug won the women’s 30km in Olso in 2011, she joined other female Norwegian greats like Marit Bjoergen and Bente Skari as World Champions. With the season opening FIS races in Beitostølen next week she will now join Norwegian ski legends Bjorn Daehlie and Vegard Ulvang in the fashion world with the launch of her  “Johaug” clothing brand.

The Johaug brand will launch with a ski glove line and release other items in the future.  Blue will be a dominate colour in the production run, as that is her favourite colour but it will be one of many options for the men’s and women’s gloves.

Johaug has confirmed that she will compete in her own gloves this season in Beitostolen, the Tour de Ski and the World Cup.  Race fans should not be concerned about her focus as she has made it clear that “I am a cross-country skier and I will be for many years to come.  Clothing is a fun and an inspiring interest, but so far as a commitment it is a clear number two.”
