April 10, 2016 – Thanks to the leadership and support of the Norwegian Ski Federation and its sponsors, CCC has responded favourably to the invitation to participate in the International Junior Camp this summer in Norway. CCC is planning to send a team of five males, five females and two support staff. The Norwegian Federation has set the following eligibility criteria for attendance at the camp: athletes must be born in 1998 or 1997, the team must be a mix of males and females and athletes need to have FIS points of less than 200 on the latest FIS points list.

Tentative dates are August 10-17 with a start to the camp in the Sjusjøen/Lillehammer area and then a few days in Oslo to finish off.

Between the financial support from the Norwegian Ski Federation and Cross Country Canada, the trip fee for participating Canadian athletes is expected to be very reasonable. Final details will be circulated after the Norwegian Ski Federation finalizes camp details at the end of May.
