release by Rossignol
April 14, 2012 – Rossignol is delighted to announce that its top athletes have extended their contracts leading up to the Sochi Olympic Games in 2014. Heading the list is Carl-Johan Bergman, double medalist at the Ruhpolding World Championships in 2012.

Placing 3rd in Sprint and 2nd in Pursuit, the Swede demonstrated his incredible skill throughout the season; even wearing the yellow World Cup leader jersey in December.

“The decision to continue with Rossignol was simple. To achieve my goals, I need the best skis. Rossignol is without doubt the best manufacturer for my skiing style. To be at my best, I need the best support.  Rossignol’s Team Service produces the best skis on the market year after year. I love that! With the new X-ium World Cup boots and the new X-ium WCS skis, I am ready to go in search of Olympic medals! ”

On the other side of the Atlantic, American leaders Tim Burke and Lowell Bailey, and Canadian leader, Jean-Philippe Leguellec, have also decided to extend their journey with Rossignol and  will be proudly competing in Rossignol’s colors leading up to Sochi.

Burke added, “I am continuing my association with Rossignol because I have 100% confidence in them. They always get me the best equipment.

I’m also very excited for the introduction of their most recent product innovations. Great as the products are already, Rossignol is always looking forward and continually improving the performance.”

We wish all of our athletes the highest level of success, matching both their ambitions, and the faith they have in Rossignol.
