They can see and purchase the latest equipment from retailers representing the major manufacturers, including Burton, Elan, Rossignol, Atomic, Flow, Columbia, Phoenix, Avalanche, Sims, Head, K2, Salomon, Dalbello, Nordica, Serengetti, Salice, Oakley and Kombi. More than 125 resorts in Canada, the U.S.A., South America and Europe present ski and snowboard vacations of a lifetime. The Automotive Building at Exhibition Place is conveniently located near downtown and close to major highways. There are acres of indoor and outdoor parking. The facility is served by the TTC and the GO Train.

The Toronto Ski, Snowboard & Travel Show is famous for its exhilarating live entertainment and impressive special features.

The crowd-drawing entertainment includes the Jeep Jib Jam. From high above the Show floor, athletes will launch themselves down an artificial snow-covered ramp for some high-flying action and challenge themselves to throw their best tricks and wow the crowds. The rails, designed to create various degrees of difficulty, will test the skills and mettle of each rider. Choreographed and energized with popular tunes, a trampoline demo and the newest fashions to keep the Show and the crowd revved up, the Jeep Jib Jam will astound visitors of all ages and treat spectators to an impressive show of skill and daring as these athletes confirm that when it comes to jibbing, anything’s possible!

The Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership and the Ontario Snow Resorts Association present the Ontario Aisle. It’s the best Ontario has to offer when it comes to alpine and cross-country skiing, snowboarding on some of Ontario’s finest groomed routes and snowshoeing on trails that are off the beaten track. Skilled travel counselors will help visitors plan wonderful winter getaways.

In the Free Ride Theatre, sponsored by Ryeka Sport Extreme Videos and Ontario Tourism, it’s thrills, spills, crashes and smashes. The big screen will feature the latest international ski and snowboard films from the greatest producers in the business. Titles include Finding Time, When In Doubt, Frozen Assets and Artistic Freedom. Visitors will be blown away by Photo Play, Corduroy, Skimatic and Long Story Short.

Snowboarders are in for the thrill of a lifetime when they meet their sporting heroes and get autographs from some of the biggest names in snowboarding today! Throughout the Show’s four days, the crowds will gather at the Snowboard Canada Magazine booth to meet such greats as the Forum snowboard team, with appearances by J. P. Walker, Joni Malmi and Lauri Heiskari. They’ll be joined by the Nitro snowboard team featuring Mark Frank Montoya and Lukus Huffman. Mikey Rencz, J. F. Pelchat, Kale Stephens and Paavo Tikkanen are with the Whiteout Films snowboard crew and are looking forward to the opportunity to spend some time with their fans.

Incorporated into the Show is one of the world’s largest ski and snowboard swaps, presented by the Canadian Ski Patrol System – Central Zone Ontario. Proceeds from the Swap help support ski patrol activities at resorts across Canada.

May 18, 2004 – Statistics from the Canadian Ski Council reveal that in 2003 there were more than 450,000 skiers and snowboarders in Toronto. Almost 20% of Torontonians take to the slopes and trails every winter and they kick off their season at the Toronto Ski, Snowboard and Travel Show.

For the more than 30,000 ski and snowboard enthusiasts who will attend this year's Toronto Ski, Snowboard and Travel Show, it's the unofficial start of winter.  The Show is an opportunity for devotees to meet 200 exhibitors all under one roof at the largest event of its kind in North America.

Winter sport exhibitors feature the latest in equipment, fashion and technical advice.  There are bargains galore, with special deals on skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, poles, goggles, helmets, clothing and other accessories for snowboarding and skiing.  Visitors spend millions of dollars on equipment and arrange travel to virtually every corner of the earth to seek out winter sport adventures.  More than 100 resorts in Canada, the U.S.A. and Europe present ski and snowboard vacations of a lifetime.  In addition to the exhibit area, the show is famous for entertainment and special features.
