April 10, 2010 (Rovaniemi, Finland) – Antti Häkämies (FIN) won the third stage of the Tour de Barents, a 1.6 km Sprint, in Rovaniemi. Sami Jauhojärvi (FIN) came second and Fulvio Scola (ITA) third. Lukas Bauer (CZE) took 6th place. On the ladies’ side over 1.4 km Pirjo Muranen (FIN) claimed victory over Katerina Smutna of Austria and Kristin Stoermer Steira of Norway.

After three stages of the Tour de Barents, Riitta-Liisa Roponen is still in the lead ahead of second Kristin Stoermer Steira of Norway. Pirjo Muranen is down on third place and Katerina Smutna (AUT) is currently ranked fifth.

On the men’s side, Sami Jauhojärvi is in a clear lead ahead of Jean-Marc Gaillard of France who is down by one minute. Lukas Bauer of the Czech Republic has moved up to the third place, losing 20 sec on the Frenchman.
