Tour de Ski Withdrawals – Canada’s Kershaw Sick?

January 1, 2008 (Nova Mesto, Cze) – Sprinters Roddy Darragon (FRA), Damien Ambrosetti (FRA), Carloline Weibel (FRA), and Kaili Sirge (EST) have withdrawn from the Tour following the Stage 3 Sprint in Prague. Ambrosetti qualified 3rd in the Sprint time trial but just missed out on the semi-finals and ended up 13th. Daragon finished 17th. In the women’s Sprint finals Weibel was 17th and Sirge 27th.

Canadian hope Devon Kershaw reported cold syptoms including a sore throat on the December 31 rest day and was thinking of pulling out of the Tour – we will see today if he is able to start in the Stage 4 Pursuit in Nove Mesto.
