Transportation Challenges for 2010 Games

October 19, 2009 (Vancouver, BC) – Transportation and traffic congestion are a concern at every Olympic venue and the Vancouver 2010 Games are no different. Some 58,000 spectators are expected each day in Whistler alone, with an additional 135,000 at the Vancouver venues according to an article in the Vancouver Sun which reviews some of the transportation challenges facing the 2010 Olympic Games. An extensive bus network is expected help cut down on the traffic.
