USA’s Hendrickson Sets Hill Record in Italy to Claim Third Women’s WCup Ski Jumping Win

January 14, 2012 (Val di Fiemme, Italy) – Round four of the FIS Ladies World Cup Ski Jumping took place at Predazzo/Val di Fiemme, the host for 2013 FIS Nordic Ski World Championships. Once again, 18-year-old Sarah Hendrickson (USA) won the competition (105.0m/107.5m/277.2pt) with a 1.7-point advantage over Daniela Iraschko (AUT) (107.0m/103.0m/275.5pt).

In third was Norwegian Anette Sagen (95.5m/99.5m/248.1pt). With the jump of 107.5m Hendrickson set the new Ladies’ hill record on the “trampolino dal ben” in Predazzo. She continues to lead the overall series with Iraschko in second and Lindsey Van (USA) in third.
