October 6, 2009 (Lake Placid, NY) – 30-second intervals, 8 reps, 3 sets. This was a hard session and it gave the skiers a chance to see where they stack up among some of the best in the country.
Three stations were used for the women, two for the men. These consisted of a DP sprint which simulates a section of the Whistler course; an uphill transition and a short uphill into a downhill.
