October 4, 2009 (Lake Placid, NY) – The second day of the U.S. Ski Team camp in Lake Placid featured speed work on classic rollerskis. Saturday’s session at the camp focused on sprint starts–using U.S. Ski Team Sprint Coach Chris Grover’s homemade start wand–and transitions. Sunday’s workout includes uphill bounding and ski walking at Whiteface Mountain, followed by a distance rollerski in the afternoon.
