May 10, 2010 – Hello Everyone, I am hiking across England from May 8th to the 28th and will be raising money for 350.org and Heifer International.  My blog explains the trail I am hiking and how you can donate. 350 is an organization created to unite the world around solutions for global warming and Heifer is an organization created to end world hunger and poverty.  Their websites are very educational and explain how you can get involved in their work.

I believe global warming is the most serious issue we face today. It is important that we do everything we can to help the earth.  How will we feel if fifty years from now we find out it is too late, that there is nothing we can do to reverse the warming of our planet? Won’t we regret not acting sooner?  It is not too late right now and we all need to make this issue our largest priority.

I am also raising money for Heifer International since the majority of the people supported by Heifer are those who have contributed the least to global warming and yet are hurt the most by its consequences. They need our support.
