October 21, 2009 – French biathlete Vincent Defrasne emerged from the 2006 Torino Olympics with a gold medal, after besting Norwegian superstar Ole Einar Bjorndalen in the pursuit final sprint. While the 32-year-old Defrasne has not achieved much since that golden performance he’ll be back for more at Vancouver 2010.
