Swix Tops Podium at West Yellowstone – Sweeney Talks Wax
Swix-sponsored skiers took the top men’s and women’s podium spots at West Yellowstone Super Tour 10/15km freestyle races on Friday.Today’s race winners used Swix FC78 Super Cera for glide wax. Swix Sport Race Service Director Kevin Sweeney provided a technical perspective on today’s conditions, “The snow surface was -5C, heavily transformed and fine grained. There was some dirt and humidity approached 84%. We kept the recommendation simple and found no real advantage in adding an accelerator topcoat for today’s conditions.”

It was a fantastic day for Swix Sport products and Swix team partnerships. Leif and Holly raced with the World Cup standard Star CT1 poles. Congratulations to them and their respective clubs Bridger Ski Foundation and Alaska Pacific University.
