May 12, 2010 – This XC-Ski Training Camp in Brazil features kids on rollerskis who are part of the professor Tuca Reichert’s roller blade racing team. Tuca is a local nurse who is helping poor kids to get involved in sports. Images of a Brazilian cross-country skiers at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver have created interest for xc skiing in Brazil. Thanks to Guido Visser for sending in this news and great photos. Visser’s wife Jaqueline Mourão is the first Brazilian woman MTBer to qualify for the Olympics and is also a top level xc skier.
